Finaly, one with Tanooki! You know, for a webcomic mascot, he sure hasn't been showing up, lately. Well, better than being uverused, right?

But yeah... don't ask me how or why, it appears that Tanooki is considered a furry by some people, while he'd fit more into the funny animal category.

I know, those CAN be considered furries as well, but I don't think you can compare Tanooki to Sly Cooper, for example. Sly DOES fit perfectly into the furry genre, as he's pretty much a human-shaped animal who thinks and acts like a person.

Tanooki, on the other hand, while having some human-like traits, like expressions, and a rather high level of intelligence for an animal, his role is to be an animal, and as far as I know, he acts like one. Kinda like Garfield does. Hell, Garfield is even more human-like than Tanooki, and I don't see anyone calling him a furry!

So yeah... why do I have people telling me that I shouldn't have a furry character in this comic when I don't even have one of those to begin with... that's something I'd like to know.
