TMs, short for Technical Machines, is one of the many things that make me scratch my head, in Pokémon. Not for their purpose, I think they're pretty cool. Being able to teach moves to your critters without waiting for 'em to level up, and whatnot. And it's nice that they're not a one-time use anymore, in Generation 5.

The thing is that when only Generation 1 and 2 existed, I used to see 'em as an actual device that would somehow teach the move to the Pokémon.

When Generation 3 came out, they're... discs. Which is fine for FireRed and LeafGreen, since we got the TM case that serves as that device. But after Generation 4, there's no such thing. The discs just lay in your inventory, and are used as-is. I know this is nit-picking, but... how the hell do you use those things?!

Oh well... it seems Takeshi found a way to use 'em that ALSO explains why they can only be used once. Too bad it doesn't explain an HM's unlimited usage.

Seeya next time!
